What could be causing the Gmail outage?

DownDetector also indicated that the Gmail outages peaked around 8:24 PM today. It is interesting to note that most of the users had faced issues with receiving emails on Gmail, which was 84 percent of the cases. 9 percent users faced Server connection and 7 percent faced problems with the Gmail website.

“Meanwhile, a few users also faced issues in getting access to the Google website. Downdetector report revealed that most of the cases were related to the website with 71 percent reports, while 17 percent of users faced difficulty in ‘Search’ and 13 percent says that they faced issues with Google Drive.”

Many people in India are reporting that their Gmail app is unresponsive and that they are not receiving emails. This may be because of the outage that Gmail is experiencing.
